On the indieclub board you asked for some advice how to get it going a little faster, so here is a bit.
a) Get a clear idea who is in on it, and motivated. Not just interested, but ready to make it.
b) Get the ICQ, MSN, AIM of all these
c) Make it clear that they have to check these boards and keep you updated
d) Talk to everyone... make a deadline
In other words orginisation and dicipline is the key. If you dont get motivated people who you know will deliver, 'the coming' will be finished in 20 years, if that. ----------------------------------------
Now, apart from this you have to ask yourself what your ambitions are. Is it going to be an interesting idea where indies make a segment for a film few will see, or are you aiming at getting media buz, publishers etc.
In the last case, then you got to have a pretty high standard, and be prepared to discard films that dont have a high standard. This can be tough, but if you dont, you might end up with a film nobody but the participants care about.
Some kind of proffesional spirit needs to be maintained
I think you should be in the loop on all the films- read the scripts - and then get changed whateevr dosent fit into teh grand scheme of things. This would be a fine balance between the 'complete freedom do make whatever film you want' and the 'plot' that some people are asking for.

well so far, I've got emails and mailing addresses for everyone who want to participate and I've received several storyboards and scripts that I helped correct a bit to keep us on track... as for quality - well, I trust people and we've discussed it lenghtily but I also have my own personal vision on how to connect everything together and I'm extremely resourceful so in a way it's a fun project for me as well since I get to plan this and yet I'm in the dark also because I don't know how it's going to end up looking myself... that's a big part of the fun...and yes, as soon as I start editing it and have something concrete to work with I do intend to start a bit of media buzz...there's an entire folder here where we discussed marketing...
