Hey guys,
I had an idea for the site, and it might look really cool, if we do it. I was thinking that those of us who are storyboarding (I know tnot everyone does) could scan a few pages and send them along to the site. Then maybe we could have a "The Coming- Concept Art" page. It might be a good way to get people interested in the project, and to give out some little tidbits of what we're doing.
Plus, I'd love to see some of the progress of my fellow filmmakers on here!

kool idea, maybe we could go the whole hog and have things like-fake newsreports on the coming in the form of newspaper extracts, etewitness accounts, bits of music (if any), art designs (posters ect..), history of production, stills gallery, behind the scenes features (in a way that will keep the look of reality if possible)... well u get the general idea..we could have all sorts of stuff for public viewing whilst these parts of the sites could be kept for the filmmakers so as not to give the game away to the intended audience.

I think it is a good idea, and maybe inspiring to see what each of us works on for the project. Maybe it is also easier to discuss and put together ( assimilate ) the pieces, when each unique artwork can be seen as a sketch on the board. I will send my (1.) scribble for the sequence to Oded and hope to discuss it with him. If I can put it as a scan, I could give it to Iodrakon too, so that he could integrate it in the board in a new art for the film section. What about that ? Greetings Seahorse

Matt, I'm still not sold on the idea of trying to pass this off as "real". I just think it'll backfire on us, and really make it look like we're trying to ride the long past coat-tails of "Blair Witch". "The Ring" tried it, and nobody bought it... it was an ad campaign that out-lived it's welcome. But I DO like the idea of having fake newspaper clippings... but we should use them more as production art than trying to pass them off as "real". But that's just one guy's opinion! As soon as my freakin' scanner starts working I'll scan some of my storyboards and send them along. ~ Stephen

Let me know! ~ Stephen

i know wat your saying, a balance has to be struck between suspending reality and is it reality....some of the stuff im thinking upon isn't done in a reality way. i think oded just wants u to do watever u feel comfortable doing then he will put it all together as he will be able to see wat works. but a good balance should strike up the audiences reading of wat your showing them, wether it b a normal film or a reality film. i didn't like the blair witch due to the fact it tried paaing itself off as real, it shot itself in the foot by having credits at the end, and yet at the end of the film ppl were still saying 'wow cant believe that was real'...that made me laugh, and wat a bout the oddballs that still believe it is....crazy or wat....bet they think friends and dallas were real!!!!
