Filmmaker82: can you upload it to the FTP as well? it's important to me that all of us use it and make it a standard operating procedure and also it's a way of securing our work so lets not post link to our segments anymore here ladies & gentlemen, ok? thanks a bunch! Oded
P.S. I'm downloading themnow and will post a response as soon as I see them.

Ok, I just saw the clip and thought it was a great start, I can't wait to see all your footage done and edited together. Right now it's extermely hard to make sense of what you shot as a single piece but I'm guessing it's because we're still missing some shots and maybe audio information as well...I think that's what you told me you were doing, right? with the scroll too? Let me know, Oded.
P.S. GR8 JOB!

well maybe you can tell me a little more about what you had in mind yourself for the scroll shot because it's still a mystery to me, I remember that you somehow wanted the scroll to be translated...how did you intend to do that? give me a few more details and I'm sure I could give you some ideas on how to shoot it. BTW - as I've mentioned before, the afik1 ftp has 10GB allocated to our project so you wouldn't have to cut down on your work just for the sake of upload... Oded.

ok, here's an idea: Do a lot of close ups, close ups with pans and tilts, close up of certain words,etc... try to keep them all in motion and not static, you can shoot it at a dark place with some ambient feeling to it or just burry it in the ground start shovling out the dirt until it reveals while zooming in slowly... I would suggest using music as a source of inspiration to get the right pacing here. DON'T EDIT IN THE MUSIC! just listen to it as you plan the shoot...a good example would be the opening credits for Godzilla (David Arnolds). Let me know what you think. I was thinking that this way I might be able use it for the opening sequence...what do you think? I think the scroll idea is gr8. Oded.
